Deadlock Mid Boss Guide: Everything You Need to Know

The Deadlock mid boss is a powerful neutral objective in the game, alongside the Soul Urn. It can be vital for winning games and provides a ton of benefits, so you should be grabbing it if you can! Here’s what it does.

What Does the Deadlock Mid Boss do?

The Mid Boss itself is a powerful slime-esque monster. It has two key mechanics. The first is its yellow health bar – this acts as a “dps check” and regenerates quickly if you aren’t doing enough damage to the boss at any point. This generally means it takes more than one member to actually do damage to the Mid Boss. The second mechanic is its attack. It locks on to the nearest target and does sustained damage. Most characters can take this damage, but if you find yourself getting low on health, just take a few steps back and it’ll attack someone else.

Once you kill the Deadlock Mid Boss, the Rejuvenator will descend into the pit. You’ll need to break this to secure the rewards.

What Does the Deadlock Rejuvenator do?

To secure the Rejuvenator after killing the Mid Boss you’ll need to wait until it fully descends onto the ground, then break it with a charged melee attack. Keep in mind this can be stolen by the enemies, so you’ll need to be quick! You can also stand where it drops and use the parry skill (F by default) to block your opponent from taking it.

Once you secure the Rejuvenator, you’ll get the following for 3 minutes:

  • 50% faster respawn (for one death)
  • 50% extra HP for troopers (aka creeps)
  • Extra fire rate
  • Bonus Souls

That’s about it for the Deadlock Mid Boss. As you can see, it can provide some very powerful benefits and is well worth taking! Just be careful so the Rejuvenator doesn’t get stolen!
